With so many good events from this Aquatech Amsterdam, we’ve decided to pick out eight of our favourite moments from this year’s Innovation Forum.
Taking centre stage
The main stage at this year’s event saw a lot of action including new water technology innovations, case study breakdowns and even the launch of a new company.
On your marks, get set, go!
Is there a better sport? The National Pipefitting Championship attracted a lot of crowds at this year’s event - just remember your rain coat for next time!
A welcome return
It was great to get back out on the innovation floor. This year’s exhibitors went the extra mile to create some truly brilliant booths that grabbed our attention.
And the winner is…
The overall winner of this year’s Aquatech Innovation Award was an autonomous robot that can help to map water utility pipe infrastructure.
Known as ‘Submerge’, the robot can help to detect leaks, corrosions and even be used to map pipe networks to eventually help create a digital twin.
High level panels
Do you remember what it is like attend a panel not via a computer?
This year’s event brought panels back and with a bang, from discussing the future of Digital Twins to the role of desalination of agriculture and even an Aquatech version of Shark Tank.
Celebrating water's changemakers
Kicking off this year’s event was the Aquatech Innovation Forum with the tagline, Celebrating Water’s Changemakers.
Blowing it up!
The invite only F**k up night was not designed to point the finger at public sector mistakes that could endanger public health but instead get water professionals talking about a side of the sector that is often forgotten about.
European connections
High level meetings: Italian company Eurotrol S.p.A. hosted Simona Baldassarre - Member of the European Parliament.
